Why Funk Cancer?

We are trying to provide a potentially life-saving message about early detection of a survivable cancer with live music and other events that will draw lots of people. No one else is combining music + prostate cancer awareness outreach. Getting people together, making them happy and comfortable and offering them education, screening, and testing on the spot in a non-threatening environment just seems like the right thing to do and it’s our way of giving back to the community we love.

Your donations may be used for PSA Tests, event planning, organizational costs and/or content creation for YouTube, FaceBook and Instagram including Public Service Announcements from professionals in the music community … but mostly tests.

Depending on the level of sponsorships, corporate sponsors will be listed on a banner on the stage and/or thanked by the band in each set. All sponsors will receive follow up communication regarding event and program outcomes. It’s how we show the love!
